Motoz Tractionator RallZ

Gravel, clay, mud, concrete, rock, downpours, patchy wet/dry bitumen, dry high speed corners, .. , and I can honestly say that in the two weeks I’ve had it, this tyre has seen it all.

Off bitumen, this tyre has some kind of magical powers that even manage to make me look like I have respectable ability.

My confidence has gone through the roof due to the RallZ grip on all the above mentioned dirt surfaces.

Nothing like feeling like you are in total control due to the confidence you have in your tyres.

On bitumen, the tyre has not put a foot wrong under any conditions.

I will be honest and admit that due to the Motoz being what it is, I’m never going to push it like I have other tyres in the past.

I have however purposely tipped it into wet corners and I may have taken a couple of dry bends at dubious speeds, but produced nothing unsettling.

The only downside for me is that when new, the tyre seems to have a high crown and consequently a narrow footprint on the road when new. This only lasts a couple of hundred kilometres in my experience and well worth the annoyance for what the tyre has done for my dirt riding.

Get on to Shark Leathers if you’re up for some serious dirt tred.

You can order online or head into the shop at Helensvale where you will get looked after in their new workshop.
